I AM
I am a delicate kiss,
I am invisible, no one can see me,
I am courageous, you cannot imagine how much,
I am a secret with no key, no word,
I am a blooming flower,
I am a drop of water in a sea of humanity,
I am grain of sand in a desert of incomprehensible thought,
I am a blade of grass in the meadow of everyday life,
I am a star shining in a chaotic universe,
I am a sunray in the sky of lusts,
I am a spark in the fire of hate,
I am like a grain of sand, shifting when dampened, turning aware,
I am like a breath of wind, with the power to carry floral pollen,
I am like a sunray that makes life vibrant,
I am a lemon squeezed out to the final tear,
I am a drop of dew clouded in fog,
I am a child filled with joy,
I am deaf, though I can hear quite well,
I am afraid, but fear I do not know,
I fight not with fists but with hugs,
I see the hearts of millions burning brightly,
I embrace humanity and feel his tear,
I push onward, but I do not shove,
I climb upwards, oh, so gently, and I am love,
I taste the bitter words, take the dire looks,
But, in reality, I am, to be myself,
And to grow ripe like a vine’s grape.
